Preview: Lambert/Richey R&L Fusion vs. MonDak [Westby/Grenora] Mon-Dak Thunder
Lambert/Richey is 1-9 against MonDak [Westby/Grenora] since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The pair will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Lambert/Richey and five for MonDak [Westby/Grenora].
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for Lambert/Richey, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-40 loss to Plevna.
Meanwhile, MonDak [Westby/Grenora] suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Saturday. They were the victim of a rough 56-33 defeat at the hands of Culbertson. MonDak [Westby/Grenora] has struggled against Culbertson recently, as their game on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Lambert/Richey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for MonDak [Westby/Grenora], their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
Lambert/Richey couldn't quite finish off MonDak [Westby/Grenora] in their previous matchup on January 5th and fell 47-45. Can Lambert/Richey avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
