Volleyball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wahconah Regional Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 3rd.

Lee took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-13, 20-25, 25-13, 15-13.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wahconah Regional, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Lee and Wahconah Regional should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 119th) will meet Mohawk Trail Regional (ranked 253rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wahconah Regional will take on Frontier Regional at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (47 vs. 160).
