Football Recap: Lake Country Lutheran Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Lake Country Lutheran proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 21) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-15 win over the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors. This was payback for the Lightning, who suffered a 28-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lake Country Lutheran's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.2 points over those games. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
