There's no place like home for Brevard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patton Panthers on Monday. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Brevard not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Patton between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.

Brevard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leah Cabe, who had eight digs and two assists.

Brevard was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 24 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Patton still got an impressive performance from Carly Setterlind, who had eight digs and two aces.

Brevard now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Patton, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Brevard will square off against West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Patton, they will face off against McDowell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
