Dayton posted their closest win since April 29, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Bellevue Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Greendevils: when they faced off against the Tigers last Monday, they had to take a 13-8 loss.

The team relied heavily on Leiyah Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Hall, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Dayton's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Bellevue, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Dayton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bellevue, they will take on Calvary Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
