Baseball Recap: St. James Sharks vs. Conway Tigers
St. James won the last time they faced Conway and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sharks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 6-4.
Frank Pepe looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

St. James is undefeated when Harnish posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Rome Derenzo was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
St. James' win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Conway, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-6.
St. James will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
