Baseball Recap: Tyee Comes Up Short

Tyee fell victim to Cedarcrest and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Red Wolves, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Titans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Tyee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cedarcrest, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Tyee will square off against Sammamish at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The RedHawks' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cedarcrest, they will host Renton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
