Basketball Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 60-33 defeat at the hands of the Community Braves. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Community, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Canton is taking a road trip to face off against Van at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Community, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sulphur Springs at 3:30 p.m.
