Soccer Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Wolcott, falling 8-2. While losing is never fun, Kennedy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Wolcott is ranked 17th).

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wolcott, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Kennedy has already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Waterbury Career Academy on the 19th. As for Wolcott, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Cromwell on the 17th.
