Soccer Recap: Central Woodstock Falls Short of Clarke County in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central Woodstock can now relate to. They fell just short of the Clarke County Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Clarke County this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-1 loss back in April.

Central Woodstock's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9-2. As for Clarke County, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Central Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clarke County has already played their next match (against Fort Defiance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
