Soccer Recap: North Canyon Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

On Tuesday, the North Canyon Rattlers earned a 4-2 victory over the Youngker Roughriders. That's two games straight that the Rattlers have won by exactly two goals.

They hit Youngker with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Victor Garcia, Ery Villaverde, Ivan Chavez, and Edwin Mejia.

North Canyon has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7-1 record this season. As for Youngker, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Canyon will take on Verrado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Verrado is on a four-game streak of home wins, North Canyon a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. As for Youngker, they will square off against Desert Edge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
