Baseball Game Preview: Sparks Railroaders vs. South Tahoe Vikings

Sparks is 0-10 against South Tahoe since May of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Railroaders will host the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. Neither Sparks nor South Tahoe posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Wednesday, Sparks didn't have quite enough to beat Hug and fell 2-1. The Railroaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sparks saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raul Medina, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, South Tahoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to Wooster.

Sparks' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for South Tahoe, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-13.
