Shelton came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Lawrence-Nelson, but Wyatt Frey wouldn't allow it. The Lawrence-Nelson Raiders managed a 46-42 win over the Shelton Bulldogs on Thursday thanks in part to Frey, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. Frey is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ben Myers, who posted 12 points and seven steals. Lawrence-Nelson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-21 loss against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on the 20th. As for Shelton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-52 win against Red Cloud on the 20th.
