Basketball Game Preview: Midwest City Bombers vs. Altus Bulldogs

The Midwest City Bombers will head out on the road to challenge the Altus Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Midwest City blew past Marshall, posting a 70-17 victory. The Bombers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Altus hadn't done well against Elgin recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Altus strolled past Elgin with points to spare, taking the game 54-36.

Midwest City is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points over those games. As for Altus, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.

Midwest City took their victory against Altus in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 56-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Midwest City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
