Football Recap: Brookfield Academy's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Pius XI Catholic last Friday, Brookfield Academy came back down to earth. The Blue Knights fell 21-12 to the Reedsville Panthers on Friday.

Brookfield Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Reedsville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookfield Academy will face off against St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers' defense has only allowed 10.2 points per game this season, so the Blue Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Reedsville, they will challenge Random Lake/Ozaukee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
