Soccer Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Batesburg-Leesville duked it out with Saluda on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Saluda this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on April 1st.

Batesburg-Leesville's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for Saluda, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Batesburg-Leesville will head out to challenge Mid-Carolina at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saluda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
