Baseball Game Preview: Snyder Cyclones vs. Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers

The Snyder Cyclones will head out to face off against the Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Snyder has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 25.

Snyder lost 20-8 to Merritt on Tuesday.

Tony Balderas stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored a run and stole three bases. Blaize Rogers also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Mountain View-Gotebo fell victim to Hammon and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 8-0.

Mountain View-Gotebo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Snyder, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Snyder suffered a grim 13-6 defeat to Mountain View-Gotebo in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Cyclones avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
