Soccer Recap: Plano East Takes a Loss

Plano East was the 2-0 winner over Prosper when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Plano East Panthers fell just short of the Prosper Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hayden Thies and Ben Alexander scored both of Plano East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Plano East's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Prosper, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Plano East and Prosper will both be playing McKinney Boyd the next time they take the pitch. Prosper will head out to face McKinney Boyd at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Plano East will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
