Volleyball Recap: Bernstein Comes Up Short

The Bernstein Dragons didn't have quite enough to beat the Garden Grove Argonauts on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Bernstein took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 21-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-8.

Bernstein's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Garden Grove, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bernstein will face off against Contreras at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give the Dragons their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Garden Grove, they will head out to challenge Ocean View at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
