Football Recap: Pulaski County Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Pulaski County kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Northside Vikings and fell 48-19. The Cougars lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 28-21 score last time.

Casey Hall was a one-man wrecking crew For Northside. as he rushed for 284 yards and three scores on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Josue Ramirez, who rushed for 78 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pulaski County will venture away from home to square off against Tazewell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northside, they will head out to challenge Cave Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
