Basketball Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

River Ridge suffered their closest loss since January 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Potosi/Cassville by a score of 53-50. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Potosi/Cassville earlier this season, when they won 45-32.

River Ridge has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Potosi/Cassville, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge will challenge Pecatonica/Argyle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Pecatonica/Argyle will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something River Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. Potosi/Cassville has already played their next contest (against Barneveld), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
