Basketball Recap: Oklahoma F Takes a Loss

Oklahoma F has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles 59-28 on Friday. The match marked the Flame's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Myiah Butler had a dynamite game for Greene County Tech, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Butler has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last six times she's played. Weslyn Burnside was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Oklahoma F's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Greene County Tech, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oklahoma F will head out to square off against Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greene County Tech, they will venture away from home to face off against Brookland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greene County Tech is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.5 points per game this season.
