Soccer Recap: Ridgevue Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgevue's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Caldwell Cougars by a score of 2-1. Ridgevue were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Caldwell apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ridgevue's goal came courtesy of Levi Hernandez, who's now up to three this season.

Ridgevue has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Caldwell, their record now sits at 5-2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgevue will square off against Rocky Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rocky Mountain's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Ridgevue's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Caldwell, they will host Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Caldwell will be up against Centennial's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
