Volleyball Game Preview: Hancock Eagles vs. Tilden Blue Devils

The Hancock Eagles will challenge the Tilden Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hancock will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Hancock was able to grind out a solid victory over Solorio, taking the game 2-0.

While Hancock won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Tilden sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Simeon on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Tilden had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Tilden's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Hancock, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.
