Copper Canyon is 4-0 against Independence since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Copper Canyon Aztecs will be playing at home against the Independence Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Copper Canyon will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Copper Canyon was able to grind out a solid victory over Glendale, taking the game 42-31.

Meanwhile, Independence came up short against Sierra Linda on Thursday and fell 29-19. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Copper Canyon's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Copper Canyon took their victory against Independence in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 50-29. Will Copper Canyon repeat their success, or does Independence have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
