Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Steinmetz College Prep). They came out on top against the Austin College and Career Academy Tigers by a score of 43-32 on Friday. This was payback for the Silver Streaks, who suffered a 40-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DeAhri Hayes, who posted 17 points. Teasiah Smith was another key player, putting up ten points.

Steinmetz College Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Austin College and Career Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.
