Softball Recap: West Bloomfield Comes Up Short

West Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 21-5 to the Royal Oak Ravens. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

LAIKEN CONNOR made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.

West Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Royal Oak, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Looking ahead, West Bloomfield will welcome Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royal Oak, they will head out to take on Troy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
