Basketball Game Preview: Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors vs. Concord Academy Eagles

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Concord Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to Carmel Christian 54-49. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Cougars are ranked 44th).

Metrolina Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Concord Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 19-3.

Metrolina Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Concord Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024, losing 51-32. Can Metrolina Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
