Softball Recap: Beachside's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Beachside put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Interlachen Rams as the Beachside Barracudas made off with a 12-1 win. The Barracudas have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Kyleigh Kendall made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Kendall was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Izzy Muszynski was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Lily Jurgens, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Beachside's record now sits at 3-0. As for Interlachen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beachside will square off against Fleming Island at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Interlachen, they will challenge St. Augustine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
