The Gaithersburg Trojans got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to the Walter Johnson Wildcats' one. Walter Johnson were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Gaithersburg earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Walter Johnson and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Gaithersburg, they moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Walter Johnson nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
