Elizabethtown proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 18) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Solanco Golden Mules 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Golden Mules: they've now won four in a row.

Elizabethtown's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Garber, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits Garber has posted since back in March. Carter Kroeck was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Elizabethtown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.

Elizabethtown's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Solanco, they now also have a losing record of 9-10.

Coming up, Elizabethtown will venture away from home to take on Daniel Boone at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Solanco, they will welcome Eastern York at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
