New Town's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the North Shore Wildcats 69-36. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

New Town has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for North Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the New Town Eagles duke it out with the Stanley Blue Jays at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. New Town is facing Stanley at the right time seeing as Stanley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for North Shore, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
