Baseball Recap: Sipsey Valley Comes Up Short

Sipsey Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bibb County Choctaws. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by just one run.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Bibb County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Sipsey Valley has already played their next match (against Brookwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bibb County, they will face off against Citronelle at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
