Soccer Game Preview: Great Bend vs. Dodge City

Great Bend hasn't had much luck against Dodge City recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will host the Demons. Great Bend has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Great Bend fell victim to Hays and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Indians.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Dodge City was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Garden City could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

With that draw, Dodge City's record moves to 6-2-1. As for Great Bend, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2.

Great Bend suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Dodge City in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
