The Hunter Wolverines will challenge the Timpview Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hunter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52 points per game this season.

Hunter had taken Hillcrest down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Wolverines were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to the Huskies. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Hunter got top-tier performance from Skye Davidson, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Davidson has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times she's played. Taylee Randall Umi was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to 13 rebounds and five blocks.

Timpview had taken Springville down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Thunderbirds took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Red Devils are ranked 20th).

Hunter's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Timpview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.
