Basketball Recap: Kilgore Takes a Loss

Kilgore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Spring Hill Panthers at home by a 40-21 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-41 back in December of 2024.

Kilgore's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Spring Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kilgore will welcome Cumberland Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Kilgore is facing Cumberland Academy at the right time seeing as Cumberland Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Spring Hill, they will host Carthage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
