Blessed Trinity had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marist War Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the War Eagles, too.

Despite the loss, Marist had strong showings from Sawyer Straley, who had 11 digs and two assists, and Maddie Campbell, who had eight digs.

Marist's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Blessed Trinity has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mount Paran Christian on the 12th. As for Marist, they will face off against Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
