Volleyball Recap: Mcintosh Wins High-Profile Contest Against Jackson County

McIntosh faced Jackson County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Chiefs skirted past the Panthers 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Chiefs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Claudia Meditz and Mya Conley, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Braelyn Ottolini and her ten assists. Lina Wang controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win made it two in a row for McIntosh and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Jackson County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

McIntosh has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Hebron Christian on the 23rd. As for Jackson County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Etowah on the 23rd.
