Basketball Recap: Goleman Takes a Loss

Goleman kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 91-44 loss at the hands of the Westwood Christian Warriors.

Westwood Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zamari Dewberry, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayar Dhieu, who posted 22 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Westwood Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Goleman and Dr. Joaquin Garcia will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Westwood Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Coral Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
