Basketball Recap: Troy Christian Skates Past Calvary Christian with Ease

Troy Christian posted their biggest win since November 30, 2024 on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 64-26 victory over the Calvary Christian Spartans. The Eagles pushed the score to 45-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans had little chance of recovering from.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evan Schmidt, who posted seven points and seven boards.

Troy Christian pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points over those games. As for Calvary Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
