Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goshen). They skirted past the Western Brown Broncos 64-61. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Western Brown's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was J Jenike, who posted 17 points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Madilyn Ruby, who went 6 of 11 en route to 13 points along with six boards and four steals.

Goshen pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Western Brown, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.

Goshen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-46 win against Bishop Fenwick on the 9th. As for Western Brown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-49 defeat against Loveland on the 9th.
