Football Recap: Buford Skates Past Benedictine with Ease

Buford barely beat Benedictine the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves blew past the Cadets 42-14 on Friday. The Wolves pushed the score to 42-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cadets cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan McCoy, who rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Those 79 rushing yards gave McCoy a new career-high.

Buford's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for Benedictine, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
