It was a good run, but Webberville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were beaten by the Stockbridge Panthers 69-35. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stockbridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brock Rochow, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 15 boards. The dominant performance gave Rochow a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Foster Pybus, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Webberville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Stockbridge, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Webberville will welcome Detroit International Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stockbridge, they will challenge Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Stockbridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
