Softball Recap: Casa Grande Beats Flowing Wells for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Casa Grande had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Flowing Wells Caballeros 10-0 on Wednesday. Considering the Cougars have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jourdyn Adsuara, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Adyson McClintic was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Casa Grande always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Flowing Wells only posted an OBP of .381.

The win (which was Casa Grande's sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Flowing Wells, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-18 record this season.

Casa Grande has already played their next contest, a 15-7 loss against Willow Canyon on the 3rd. Flowing Wells does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
