Soccer Game Preview: Esperanza College Prep vs. Aspire Ollin

The Esperanza College Prep Guerreros will head out on the road to square off against the Aspire Ollin Jaguars at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Esperanza College Prep knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Aspire Ollin likes a good challenge.

Esperanza College Prep's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on January 4th. They blew past Lakeview Charter 6-0. Omar Gutierrez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Aspire Ollin has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 5. They fell just short of Animo Bunche by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Jaguars couldn't quite close it out.

Aspire Ollin's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Esperanza College Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.
