Palma is 8-2 against Pacific Grove since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Palma Chieftains will venture away from home to challenge the Pacific Grove Breakers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Pacific Grove will be up against a hot Palma team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Palma breezed by Salinas to the tune of 60-28 on Friday. The Chieftains have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pacific Grove was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 63-58 to Oakwood. The loss continues a trend for the Breakers in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Palma will need focus on slowing down Gabriel Valencia, one of several Pacific Grove players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 17 points and eight boards. Valencia continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Nimri, who put up 21 points.

Palma has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Pacific Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Everything went Palma's way against Pacific Grove when the teams last played back in February of 2022, as Palma made off with a 65-44 victory. Does Palma have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pacific Grove turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
