Softball Recap: Spring Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Spring Valley entered their tilt with St. Albans on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Red Dragons. The Timberwolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Dragons, too.

Laykin Adkins was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Kate Spry also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Spring Valley's record now sits at 7-5. As for St. Albans, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Spring Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Tippecanoe at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Albans, they will take on Hurricane at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
