Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Christian Comes Up Short

St. Cloud Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Prior Lake Christian Royals, falling 73-40.

Prior Lake Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. The matchup was Morgan's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Wilson, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 12 rebounds, and nine steals.

St. Cloud Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Prior Lake Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

St. Cloud Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Prior Lake Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. As for Prior Lake Christian, they will take on St. Francis Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
