Volleyball Recap: Paxton Finds Home Court Redemption Against Sutherland

There's no place like home for Paxton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sutherland Sailors on Tuesday. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Sailors, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Paxton easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21.

Addison Holm paced Paxton's offense, picking up nine kills. Holm got some help from Hadleigh Kramer and her 20 assists.

The victory got Paxton back to even at 2-2. As for Sutherland, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Paxton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against South Platte on the 4th. As for Sutherland, they will welcome Southern Valley on the 11th.
