             Chavez is 2-8 against Stagg since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Titans will host the Delta Kings  at 7:30  p.m. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Chavez sitting on  nine straight  victories and Stagg on eight.
Stagg's offense is going to have their work cut out for them  on Thursday: Chavez hadn't allowed a single  point the last four times they've hit the field. The Titans blew past McNair 35-0  on Friday. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 28  points or more this season.
  Joel Donnell and  Elijah Walker were among the main playmakers for Chavez as the former gained 102 total yards and three touchdowns and the latter threw for 170 yards and three  TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. Donnell was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 58 yards.
Meanwhile, Stagg sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  24-21  win over Tokay  on Friday. The 24-point effort marked the Delta Kings' lowest-scoring  game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Chavez better keep an eye on  Issac Bun. He was instrumental in Stagg's win, rushing for 172 yards and three  scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.
 Chavez's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Stagg, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Thursday's  contest will pit two  of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Donnell and  Darnell Holmes. Donnell just won't slow down this season and  has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 120.6 rushing yards per game. Holmes has been a dominant force too and  has run in 20 touchdowns while averaging 136.1 rushing yards per game.
 Chavez beat Stagg 28-21  in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. Will the Titans repeat their success,  or do  the Delta Kings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
